Bringing HOPE to Life

Sanctity of Life Sunday has traditionally been observed on the Sunday closest to January 22nd, the anniversary of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in 1973.  Although Roe was overturned in 2022, abortion remains fully legal in New Jersey, and Lighthouse is serving more women and couples than ever who feel pressured to choose abortion due to their circumstances or finances. By offering them HOPE and practical HELP (at no cost!), Lighthouse makes life choices possible! 

In honor of this special day, we’re rallying churches, schools and businesses to promote the value of life and to help fill more than 500 New Moms’ Baskets with all the brand new essentials Lighthouse babies will need.

We will be collecting the following items at Crossroads Church on Sunday, January 26!

Our most needed items, in priority order, are:

• Baby wipes: packs of 72-100

• Diapers: Sizes 3,4,5,6

• Infant clothing: 3-9 months (new)

• Pacifiers & teethers

• Small baby toys & rattles

• Board Books

• Infant Formula: Enfamil Infant & Gentlease

*Special Note: We currently need gently used winter clothes for boys & girls (6 mths-2T)
